Do a winter clean up. Since there isn’t too much to do outdoors in the winter, do a winter clean up. It is a great time to reorganize your tool room. A lot of times we get in a hurry and just throw things in there and say ‘I will put it away later’. Well now is later, put things were it goes, get rid of things no longer useful, and clean up the tools. Give your tools a good cleaning. Let’s face it, gardening tools are not cheap. The best way to get the most of your money is to keep the in good condition. If you reuse pots or containers, winter is a good time to sterilize them as well. Just doing a little clean up in your tool shed and potting area will get you out of the winter blues.
