An entry fee of $7.00 per photo or $30 for 5 will be charged.
(15% disc. for SA&G members)
All entries must be color prints, film or digital, mounted and matted ready for framing. Mat dimensions must be 17 ½ x 23 ½ , with at least a 1” border around the photograph
Each entry must have been taken by applicant
Unmounted photos and those in frames or glass will not be accepted.
All photos must be taken in SA & G between September 1, 2010 & August 31, 2011.
Not accepted are prints depicting photos of activities not permitted in SA & G, photos that diminish the beauty of nature, and “set up” photos that depict natural inaccuracies.
Obvious use of image manipulation techniques may result in disqualification.
A paid day pass or SA & G membership will be required to enter the grounds.
This contest is open to amateur photographers, who earn less than $20,000 annually, from photography.
An exhibit of the top 25 entries will be held at the SA & G from Mid- September through October.
All submitted photos will become the property of SA & G. The SA & G has the right to use all photos entered in the contest for display, publication or other promotional purposes.
All photos submitted may be picked up after the judging if the submitted photo was accompanied with a digital image or cd format.
The deadline for submitting entries is September 10, 2011.
Contest entrants will be invited to a reception and award ceremony September 17th, 6:30 pm.
Judges will include prominent photographers from the region.
