Wedding

Garden weddings are frequent occurrences at the Schedel Arboretum and Gardens. The most popular dates for weddings here are June through October; however, earlier and later dates are not uncommon.
The grounds offer numerous natural settings for ceremonies ranging from simple to elaborate. Seasonal variations offer a broad range of opportunities for customizing a ceremony that is unique to the taste of each couple. Picture for example a wedding in the Japanese garden where the soft music of a harp and the sound of a distant waterfall complement the brilliant colors of the Japanese maples; or, a ceremony nestled amongst beds of colorful annuals near the edge of a quiet lake that is bordered by stately bald cypress trees.
