Combining FUN, EDUCATION and Being Outdoors! Miss Marik is returning to teach all 4 sessions of Summer Science Camp. Miss Marik is a Middle School teacher at Woodmoore. We recognize that as our society evolves and becomes ever more reliant on technology, the significance of science and nature is waning. This is of ever increasing concern in the lives of our children who are becoming more and more tethered to electronics rather than valuing hands-on real life experiences for both learning and stimulation— particularly when it comes to outdoor activities. There will be two sessions for Elementary students going into 4th & 5th grades and two sessions for Middle School students going in to 6th, 7th & 8th. June 20-23rd is set for the Elementary Students AM session 10AM-Noon and PM session from 1PM-3PM. Middle School sessions are from 10AM-2PM June 13th - 16th & July 11th-14th. Students may only sign up for 1 week of science camp. Limit is 20 students per session. Snack & water will be provided for all students. Middle Schoolers need to pack a lunch each day.
Art Camp will consist of 3 days with 3 different mediums of art by 3 different local artists. July 18-20th Elementary Students session is 10:30AM-Noon and Middle School students from 1PM- 2:30PM
