The Mission

“To offer life enriching experiences – for the benefit of current and future generations – by providing unique opportunities for the study and appreciation of nature and the arts.”

This mission is realized by offering a setting that provides a beautiful and tranquil venue for guests of all ages and backgrounds to:
  • enjoy premier educational, cultural, social, and leisure opportunities,
  • further their understanding of, and appreciation for, nature and the enduring relationship between plants and people
  • expand their appreciation for things of a cultural nature
  • partake of educational opportunities relating to nature and the arts
  • utilize this unique setting for groups to conduct meetings, workshops, training sessions, retreats, bonding exercises, religious ceremonies, fundraisers, and other such activities, where a tranquil, upscale setting is desired
  • provide a venue for indoor or outdoor social events such as weddings, receptions, reunions, parties, dinners,
  • engage in learning and research activities often in cooperation with schools and institutions of higher learning,
  • raise and administer resources to make these things possible.

Our Motto: “Study nature, love nature, stay close to nature. It will never fail you.”
-Frank Lloyd Wright
