 Attention Adventure Seekers!   Schedel Arboretum & Gardens is excited to welcome you to Adventure Camp! Get set to explore Schedel Arboretum & Gardens through Science and Art. Each day you will learn about nature through water, wind, and soil themed activities through hands-on science experiments and art projects. Adventure Camp sessions- Elementary Sessions for students entering Grades 4-6 July 15th-17th from 10:00am-12:30pm. Middle School Session for students entering Grades 7 & 8 July 22nd-24th from 10:00am-12:30pm.  Snack & drinks are provided.
Space is limited to 25 participants each session. Sign up early so you don't miss out on the fun. We hope to see you there!  Reservations are required as space is limited.  You can reserve your space today via the website:  https://www.schedel-gardens.org/calendar.html
Our leaders will guide you through Adventure Camp. Art will be taught by Julie Wax, a retired Old Fort Art Teacher, along with her assistant, Teresa Wasserman, a retired Old Fort Social Studies teacher. Science will be taught by Janelle Phillips, a retired Old Fort Elementary Teacher and Lori Schultze, a Genoa High School Science Teacher.
Something new this year! Adventure Camp Open House will be on August 7th from 6:00pm-7:00pm to showcase our campers’ activities and projects for the parents and/or grandparents!
Summer Adventure Camps are provided for FREE thanks to the community support and generosity of Genoa Bank, Materion Corp,  and Ottawa County Community Foundation.
